FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE AT AMARA MASSAGE:

The role of the Front Desk team members is to ensure that clients have an amazing experience at Amara; this includes phone interactions, email, check in, check out and online interactions. Front Desk team members will embody genuine care and concern for guests, taking care to give the best service possible, ask good questions, and match guests with the therapist who they feel will be the best fit. In addition, customer care specialists will implement speed and efficiency, remembering that multi-tasking is necessary to allow the center to run smoothly. Other duties may be required as assigned by Management, and depending on your skillsets, opportunties for long-term projects or resonsbilities are available. Below are the detailed tasks and expectations required from Front Desk Associates:

 

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide outstanding customer service skills both on the phone, in person and in online transactions. Going above and beyond to make sure each guest’s expectations are far exceeded.
  • Consistently auditing the books in Mindbody for best utilization and profitability, by using consistent booking guidelines and smart start times.
  • Book therapists with clients based on our three question test and matching process, being sure to safeguard our massage team from potential unsafe clients.
  • Monitoring the start and end times of massages therapists, and bringing any issues to Management’s attention.
  • Completing and tending to the Daily/Weekly Checklist with diligence, particularly during downtime. Checklist items including opening and closing lists need to be completed each day.
  • Work closely with the Massage Team to ensure flow and efficiency during and between sessions.
  • Keeping customer information safe, secure and confidential.
  • Arriving on time for work, present, aware and ready to engage with guests.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the workspace and being mindful that our break room and Front Desk is a community setting.
  • Using a kind, caring voice and demeanor in all situations with guests and co-workers, including the company comminication platform (Discord)
  • Laundry, cleaning, and general organization.
  • Attending staff meetings and continuing education as requested.
  • Clearly communicate vacation or any other time off or schedule change requests directly to management at least 2 weeks before the requested dates.
  • Clearly communicate personal requests and feedback to the General Manager and Resource Director. Communicating directly with co-workers to encourage a team atmosphere where requests and feedback are welcome and supported by one another.

RELATIONSHIPS

Amara Front Desk Staff communicates directly with the Massage Team, General Manager, Resource Director, and Owner. All Time Off Requests should be given directly to the Resource Director. Front Desk Staff should work cohesively to bring all clients an excellent massage experience and be prepared to refer clients to other staff members if you know they would be best suited with an alternate therapist.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma
  • Customer service/sales history
  • Adherence to all Policies & Procedures of AMT&W

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of Massage, Anatomy, or Physiology
  • Associates Degree
  • Background in Health/Wellness

COMPENSATION

  • $18.00/hour starting wage
  • Paid Sick & Safe Leave per the State of Colorado
  • Performance reviews every 6 months
  • 10% Retail Commission on select retail sales

BENEFITS – Employees are considered ‘Full-Time’ at 24 hours/week.

Schedule: 7 hours shifts with a 30 minute break included

Sunday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Monday: 1:30pm – 9:00pm
Tuesday: 1:30pm – 9:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Friday: OFF
Saturday: OFF
Total: 35 hours @ $18/hr
