We have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of support from all of our clients!
Because so many of you have reached out, we have been thinking about how best to structure any voluntary support moving forward.
There is absolutely no expectation that anyone donate or offer support unless that feels right for them, as we know that many are experiencing financial struggle during this time.
If you would like to support Amara Massage and it’s employees during COVID-19 closures there are a couple of ways to do this during our service interruption:
- An outright donation to our company + merchant gift upon reopening.
Donations can be facilitated using your credit card on file (or a new card over the phone) or by redeeming an existing gift card or golden ticket at face value for us to immediately convert to usable income. PLEASE NOTE, if you opt to donate a gift card or golden ticket back to us, you are essentially redeeming the ticket value and surrendering it, which means it cannot be exchanged for products or future services! All donations will be dispersed to the general business fund and used to handle ongoing overhead expenses during closure, including paid CE time for team members with diminished or no hours, payment of wages to management team members that are keeping Amara going behind the scenes during the temporary closure, rent payments, ongoing monthly fixed costs, etc., thus ensuring we have the infrastructure and physical space to house our business and offer treatments in the future.
All donors will receive an Amara merchandise gift when we reopen as a THANK YOU for being a donor. Donors gifts may include Amara t-shirts, tank tops, chap stick and more!
- A direct gratuity can be offered to the employee(s) of your choice (this INCLUDES all front desk and management team members!) using a CC on file or by calling in another CC for payment.
- Gift Card Purchases are disabled until we are able to book hands on service appointments again.

ALL DONORS WILL RECEIVE A MERCHANDISE GIFT UPON REOPENING valued at a minimum of $3+. PLEASE NOTE: DONATIONS ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE SINCE WE ARE A FOR PROFIT BUSINESS.
